Anders, 34, is smart, handsome and from a good family, but feels enormous guilt about all the opportunities he's wasted and all the people he's let down.
Anders has almost completed drug rehabilitation in the countryside and will be allowed to go to the city for one day to attend a job interview. He takes advantage of the leave to hang out and catch up with friends he hasn't seen in a while.
He realizes that he doesn't want to start over at his age, and realizes there's no going back.
Based on the novel Le feu follet by Pierre Drieu La Rochelle.
In Norwegian with English subtitles.
