Dans un futur proche, un détective (Chris Pratt) se retrouve accusé du meurtre de sa femme et doit subir un procès. Traqué par le temps, il n’a que 90 minutes pour prouver son innocence avant qu’une juge dotée d’une intelligence artificielle de pointe (Rebecca Ferguson), qu’il avait lui-même contribué à mettre en place, ne le condamne à une sentence irréversible.
