The entire team dedicates the series to Bobby, whose son Robert (Michael Cash) is one of the players. With the help of some expert trainers, this team of friends, who would do anything for each other and for Bobby, begins winning games on their way to the top of the 2002 Little League World Series—culminating in a record-breaking showdown.
