Walking in Two Worlds Overview

This documentary chronicles over 50 years of the W_SÁNEC School Board’s history (formerly the Saanich Indian School Board). Tracing the evolution of Indigenous education from the era of the Tsartlip Indian Day School to the present, celebrating the achievements of the wishes and dreams of the Elders. The film tells the story of the W_SÁNEC community’s commitment to supporting their children in learning the SENCOTEN language and W_SÁNEC knowledge systems through an education rooted in their values.
