3 hrs movie is just too long. I think Avatar should retire now after this one. It's over-done and has lost a lot of original story-line. I liked it OK, just not that great anymore. Considering the lack of movies to go see in past few months - I went out of boredom

There are so many ways to show Pandora but each movie is like the last one. White people are evil and must be stopped. They will never be able to save this planet or any other. The earth mother may save us yet but humans never will.

It´s action-packed and the VFX effects are the best I have ever seen. The new villain Varang is psychotic and evil (no poor misunderstood victim who deserves "redemption") and the actress is obviously enjoying the role. She has great chemistry with Col. Quaritch. There´s a lot of emotional, intense scenes. And some brutal and dark ones, so it´s not suitable for young children. My only complaint is the core plot is basically the same as in the previous movies. I expected it will lead to Pandora-forming of the Earth at some point, or to spreading awareness about the evil actions of the corpos and mercenaries, which would lead to massive protests on the Earth. But we still have not been to the Earth. It also didn´t have to be over 3 hours long. It doesn´t feel long, but people rarely have 3+ hours of free time to rewatch a movie.

Impressive; nobody writes dialogue like Jim Cameron.

It may not be the best Avatar movie, but it could be. See it with someone you love.
