Gave 1 star but it really deserves 0 stars. This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen other than “The Tree of Life” by Terrence Malick. If I had watched this movie online I would have turned it off after 5 minutes. I went to the movie theater to see it and I left after about 25 minutes. The story was about a married couple who argues a lot and they invited neighbors over for dinner. I thought it would be funny because it had Jonah Hill in it but it wasn’t. Very disappointed.

Two kinds of people saw this movie. Ones who have their opinions craved in stone (didn't like it) and people with open and curious minds, Willing to try something new; different; or bin there, done that. I wonder how they... The trip was worth the journey.

I hate comedies and the trailer for this one left me dreading the experience. But I had recently subjected my friend- who is in desperate need of cheering up - to the pure torture of The Death of Robin Hood. Can't remember the last time I sat with an almost full house who were so enraptured by the sheer brilliance and technical virtuosity exhibited by the production, bravo!

Fine for those interested in the subject matter. Enjoyed the performances, and films that are heavy dialogue are few and far between now, sadly.

I was looking forward to a light hearted comedy but all I saw was filth and not a thing was funny. And the F--- word repeated so many times that I can't give you a count but must have been half the script. When are they going to start making decent movies?

Finally an adult movie. This movie is a scathing indictment and examination of a dysfunctional marriage. It has some great laughs but they underscore a very serious tone of communication between partners. It will solely for adults and I welcome the refreshing targeting to adults for this movie. Well acted by all 4 and meant to be a discussion piece for any viewer.

If you like the F bomb you will love this movie. A perfect example of Hollywood rot.

This movie is tailor-made for couples, particularly those with some temporal and/or experiential "history". Familiarity, surprise, raucous laughter, empathy, disagreement, and a whole raft of other elements - combined with relatable (and not-quite-so-relatable) characters - are the ingredients that keep us continuously discussing this gem of a movie a week after seeing it.
