Not a bad movie! All those bad reviews and word of mouth ALMOST made me not watch the movie @ a theatre. Just do not expect too much from this movie....sit back and enjoy.

I thought this movie was just...amazing. I`m not a fan of Si-Fi, but God, this movie had me at the edge of my seat the whole time. Tom Cruise was great, fellow Canadian Justin Chadwick was very good, and little Dakota Fanning blew me away. On the contrary of what SOME people are saying, the was NOTHING bad about this movie. I give it 5 stars. Just amazing. One of my favorite movies of the year.

I hated it. Definatly didn`t make any sence, and the ending just made it worse. None of it made sense, and I definatly WONT be purchasing it when it comes out on DVD.

Awesome movie! Suspense from beginning to end! For those who gave it a bad review, they obviously dont understand that its from ONE mans perspective. Picture yourself in an alien invasion....who would explain whats happening to you if NOONE knows themselves??? It amazes me how dumb some people are.

if this movie was set in the victorian era, like at the time hg wells wrote it would have been an awsome movie. and Would have someone else other than tom cruise for lead role.
