True Grit is a great film and story I did not think could be re-done, especially with the Duke portraying the original Rooster Cogburn, but Jeff Bridges puts his own unique spin on the classic story. The story is true to the book and the supporting cast is terrific. Recommended for western fans and those who love a good story.

wow . really good movie . For starters it was like a western bt had a few twists in the storyline . i would recommend this movie to people who love gore effects and people who love westerns with guns going BANG everywhere . age group would probally be .... 13 and over

Excellent interpretation of this classic western movie I found that this version highlighted the human element of the story. Appeals to a broader audience than your typical shoot 'em up western.
