I totally enjoyed this movie. The beginning was a bit over the top, but overall a great and entertaining movie with a good plot. It even pulled off the lack of high-tech gagetry that most of the other James Bond movies have.

This Bond was not quite what i expected. It was better than i thought it would be. Craig was very good. Right from the start, it felt like a fresh Bond movie. Explaining how he came about being a double O. Even how he got the original Astin Martin. But as for rivaling Sean Connery... No Way. Down the road maybe, But not yet. Sean is and always will be "James Bond" Heres to #22. Cant wait.

This was an alright movie but it was no James Bond. Ian Flemming must be rolling over in his grave. James leaving a beautiful woman for work? The old James always made time. This movie could have been XXX or any other film like that. It made James to be crude, oafish and stupid. Get rid of all the political correctness, bring in some decent writers, (I`m sorry, that last hand nearly killed me...yuck!) bring back Q, get rid of the female M and hire someone who can play sauve and debonair, then we might have another James Bond.

The Bond saga finally has a solid starting point; Daniel Craig was able to masterfully create a Bond character of his own that is powerful enough to stand up against his predecessors. Casino Royale presents a wonderfully gritty and visceral version of Bond, and I, for one, have the utmost respect for Craig`s acting ability. I cannot wait to see the next Bond installment!

The movie was great. Who cares if his hair is blondeish when he plays James Bond as the character is supposed to be played. He`s supposed to be raw, not all that charming or studly. Fantastic. I can`t wait for the next Bond movies he does.
