UNBELIEVABLE!!! I can't say for certain that this movie will make new fans for SPEED RACER, however if you're already a fan...This is one AMAZING MOVIE!!! the last time I saw Speed Racer was over 20 years ago and every little detail reminded me of the show. They definitely stayed true to the original! WOOOOOOW!!!

If you just want to watch and enjoy the movie without being judgemental, this movie is good for family and kids. What else can you expect from the movie based on animation made back in late 60's? Super duper cars, good old good vs evil story, terrible acting(yes, all of them performed really bad acting), and colourful background throughout the movie.

Can the person that made the last 10 minutes of the film PLEASE step forward? That was awesome... the first 2 hours 'moments' here and there... but the final 10 was fantasic.
A stronger script - maybe another draft or two - and this would have been a 5 star...
