Never read the book... saw the movie and just loved it!!! It's not one of these movies that pushes a message onto you. Makes you reflect on certain aspects of your life... so soothing too watch!! Went with a friend and she loved it as well!! Visuals were wonderful.. Italy and Bali the Best!!!

It was a good movie, mostly true to the book - but a little slow at times. Still very enjoyable!

I saw Eat,Pray,Love the day it came out and it was beyond AMAZING! Julia Roberts has always played such incredible characters, and she brings to life a great woman that needs changes in her own life... I would recommend this movie to all women who are going through tough times in their lives - wether it be with their jobs, the love life, etc... it would be great for EVERY woman to see this!!! Then we could all LOVE ourselves again, just the way we are :)

Better than I thought it would be...I got hungry watching the Itlay section! Julias a great actress but a bit too much crying from her...other wise entertaining.

Read the book; avoid the movie. It was far too long, never fully grabbed one's attention and Julia Roberts played herself. No acting talent required there.

Excellent movie, excellent acting, beautiful scenery! Julia Robert's character learns to live with passion and without guilt in Italy, learns that God lies within each of us in India, and learns that it is work the risk to love again in Bali. Pay attention, and you'll get the point of the movie.

Julia is always great to watch and the scenery was amazing, it was just a little to slow for me.
