This has to be one of the most boring movies I have seen in a long time.... I love Julia Roberts, but this movie was terrible.

Boring and too long. It is a good at home rental and also good for anyone who needs a "nap".

If you read the book and you're watching the movie; just forget abou the book. This is a completely different experience. As far as the director tryed to keep it close to the book you might find some gaps and eventually get disapointed. So, just relax and enjoy the trip. Jilia Roberts provides again an amazing interpretation and you'll be sweept away by the scenery, the food and the love (less than the readers expected).

The movie was enjoyable but I strongly suggest you read the book first because it is so much better!

The book is still better, but the last third of this movie makes up for it. Definitely go see!

I saw a little bit of every single one of my girlfriends (including myself) in this movie.

Julia Roberts brings some depth to the character of Liz Gilbert that not many actresses could have done. Though I don't agree with the choices made by the protagonist in Eat Pray Love, I understand the desire to find oneself, to seek what is thought to be missing. A good story with an incredible and eye-opening portrayal of the three countries Liz visited in her quest. It certainly makes you want some good Italian food afterwards.
