Richard's Curtis trade-mark all over the place and, yet, a movie full of surprises. By watching the trailers, one can expect to find a Bridget Jones Diary-kind-of-romantic-plot, however Curtis puts that aside and astounds the audience with a hillarious and insightful reflection about, obviously, the impermanece of things, of life, the appreciation of the here and now (it sound cliche, but with his images and screenplay the reflection goes beyond). The performances are AAA, specially those of Domhnall Gleeson and Bill Nighy. Just hi-la-rious.

At first he uses the time for inconsequential things, but then he realizes the power that comes with time travel. Oddly enough, it is Rachel McAdams’ second role as a time traveler’s wife and she is wonderful in this film. Bill Nighy is also a delight as T

A pleasant change from special effects and violence. Great chemistry between main characters. Enjoyed it much more than I had anticipated. Not just for chicks!
