Its good, its not great. The special FX and suit design and action scenes are possibly the best ever filmed for a live action Spiderman. Its cool to see punisher and hulk, those aren't spoilers they are in the trailer. Good banter between spidey and punisher. Tom looks like he's in the best shape of his life. And that's the end Of the good stuff. Now, the bad stuff is the plot, the jumping from one thing to the next without clear logic or realism. The cheesy Almost cringe unrealism in some scenes. And yet I could forgive ALL of that if they just delivered on the 3 major plot promises that they teased but leave you hanging on for the entire film. No satisfaction. No resolution. No end in sight. They are just milking the drama now and dragging this thing on when it could have perfectly been wrapped up in THIS movie. Spoilers below... (kind of)****** 1) if you watch the trailers then you know they are teasing the idea of peter mutating into Manspider which is a classic Spiderman story where he grows extra arms and then finally becomes a big spider monster. They tease that...then don't deliver. So now we have to sit through another 2 movies to see peter eventually become the large monster spider? It makes no sense not to include that climax HERE in THIS film. Its like they ran out of budget half way through and had to rewrite manspider out of it. Obviously the logical conclusion given by the trailers and the first half of the move would be to have manspider happen to defeat or help defeat hulk, ironically leaving peter to hulk out instead but only be brought back to human by mj saying his name or something. They didn't do that. They did not of it. They just tease and tickle and the movie ends with no manspider , not even any extra limbs. 2) They built the whole movie around stranger things eleven, I mean jean Grey. And they don't use her powers to restore Mj memory of peter. WTF its right there! And they don't do it! 3) jean but no x-mans
This movie is so ridiculous and disappointing. If you have read The Odyssey you could feel like I do.
This is really not only disgusting but the most boring movie I've ever watched in my life only lasted two hours and walked out. Just a warning make sure you bring ear plugs are you will have hearing damage
It is completely STACKED with actors! I just find ALL the comments Hilarious! “It’s soo long, It’s boring. It’s loud.” It’s loud because it’s WAR & NoOne in movie-making history knows how to do IT quietly! AND it’s Long & Boring because… ITS The ODYSSEY!!! (obviously some of y’all missed Lit class)
A wonderful but also frequently painful to watch film. If you think this is just a feel-good movie about a boy befriending a falcon, you are wrong. It is that, as emotional and deep as it can get, but also a harsh criticism of the British educational system at the time with the self-glorifying absolutist and sometimes sadistic teachers (with that one exception). It‘s also an at times documentary-like family drama in a struggling 1960‘s mining community, overall a very powerful film. Good acting, especially David Bradley as Billy Casper, and great cinematography.

Very unique storytelling and very fun.
So happy this is a box office hit. And it's not even released in China until the 31st. It's going to make over a $1 billion. Well deserved. Don't miss it.
