  I am sure this movie will motivate different people to interpret it to have different meanins. Being a Catholic it had a profound meaninf to me, and I am sure to thousands of other Catholics and Christians who really understand whats going on in the events as portrayed in this film by Mel Gibson. All I can say is that those who understand are one with Mel, which means we are spiritually united with this wonderful man who has the courage to live his faith to the fullest.   It was an incredible and uplifting to one`s faith and deepening of knowledge of our precious Lord and what He did for us!

  It was a moving, emotional, real account of the torture Christ went through. I would highly recommend this film to others. I cannot belive it received some ratings of one star here. Obviously, if you do not believe in Christ or his teachings you will feel like this movie isn`t any good because you will doubt everything you see.

  READ READ READ I honestly believe that this movie is a reminder from god to people, I personally believe god brought this movie through mel gibson to show us once more about whats going on in the world, and that if things dont soon change, the world well be like it was back than, only much worst, PLEASE whoever reads this dont forget to take god in your life, do me a favour and read john 3-3 in your bible.

  I honestly don`t think that Christ was whipped that brutally. If He was, there was no need to cruxify Him, He would have already died. That was way over the top. I am happy that the film was made and glad to see such great interest in it. Praise to You, Lord Jesus Christ!

  I loved the movie and I think you should watch it no matter what. Mel Gibson did an incredible job and i think you should watch the movie no matter what your religon. Bravo Mel, Bravo!

  Finally a movie that has a proper meaning and message!!Although slightly brutal, this movie depicts Jesus` final 12 hours perfectly. We should all be aware of the amount of suffering he went through for us for no reason!

  Anti-semitism!? What anti-semitism!? Honestly people, when I was watching it, I didn`t really care WHO was doing this to Jesus. All that matters is it HAPPENED to Jesus. We are all sinners. We all nailed him to that cross. That`s why he did it. For US! It`s amazing how as soon as people heard that this movie was being made, they start pointing fingers and stary from what the movie is actually about. People can be such idiots sometimes. It was an awesome movie.
