"The Passion of the Christ" was so power full that it hase had a lasting efect on my life as one who loves Jesus and hase a personal relasionship with Him. Meny years ago I had told God that we needed some one who was well known in the movi industry who was not ashamed of his or her faith in Jesus, would put out a Jesus fill that was so explisit and true to what the Bible sais took place as far as what Jesus suffered through. When I was yonger I had asked God to give me a dream about the crusifixion. I`d asked Him to show me what realy happend. How bad was it.So God did, He gave me a dream. I remember that I was kneeling beside Jesus as h

this movie can move or at least touch even the hardest hearts. i`m a catholic, the stations of the cross were taught to me,but i NEVER envisioned them to this extent. even if some argue that this movie is exagerated, the meaning is still there, and lets face it folks, jesus is not the "typical man" ,god the father may well indeed have intended jesus`s suffering to be so violent,to sink in our tiny little minds, just how important our lord`s mission was. he paid the ultimate price for us. i just hope that those of us who are moved bye this film, continue to keep it in perspective in our day to day lives, and not forget once all the publicity of the f

I felt this movie was the most moving and emotional pictures ever made. While at times it seemed to be extremely brutal, it was historically accurate. This movie needed to be made! Everyone has heard of Jesus and the "sacrifice" he made for us but no one can fathom the degree of suffering and agony that he endured by just reading the bible. Seeing it on film, no matter how disturbing for some to watch, puts it all in perspective. Look at our world today people! The world needs a good slap in the face and a wake up call!

I thought the depiction of the scourging was everything I believed it to be as a young person growing up with the teachings. It was gruesome but not unbelievable. Those who have spoken out against it are trying to hide the truth. And oh by the way, for those who don`t know, it was Roman soldiers that tortured Jesus not the Jews.

For someone who knows their Bible very well, I can say that this movie does not represent Jesus in a truthful way. I understand Mel`s intentions but the vital message of Christ was simply distorted and the wrong things were glorified. Also, way too many ridiculous " slow-motions ".

I think that it was a very reviting film. We must realize that jesus payed for our sin`s past, present, and future. All we have to do is ask for forgivness. God`s tear at the end of the movie really shows how I felt.

An in depth look at the last hours of Christ`s life. Not afraid to show the violence as it really was. When they say he was flogged, they show what the really mean, not the typical movie version of a few stripes on someone`s back. Not for children, as rendition too shocking and real.
