Maybe it's just me, but I wasn't impressed by this movie. I found the speech hard to understand, couldn't hear them properly. It was just too slow.... and had to try to stay awake.

Excellent movie! Two thumbs up! I enjoyed this movie very much. It was quite comparable to the John Wayne original. Jeff did a great job in this movie. Well done!

This movie was truly funny. Jeff Bridges was awesome in the role originally played by John Wayne. His quick wit had me laughing during most of his scenes. Josh Brolin, well Josh Brolin is gorgeous. Too bad we didn't get to see more of him. *wink wink* As for Hailee Steinfeld, she was amazing. Another truly funny character. I loved how she bantered her way through the movie. Even if you're not a fan of John Wayne movies, this is well worth the cost of admission.

I was a little apprehensive at first. I am a big fan of John Wayne movies. I was very glad to see that they kept the dialogue almost exact to the original. Hard to beat "The Duke' but Jeff Bridges did a great job.
