Have been a big fan of Jeff Bridge's for many years and he definitely worked his usual magic but young Hailee Steinfeld was brilliant in this!! Looking forward to seeing her onscreen again - would be especially fab if the Coen Brothers used her again!

My husband requested this one so I tagged along thinking it's a night out together. Was I surprised, I loved it. I have not seen the original, but would like to now. The acting was fantastic especially the young girl. Bridges and Damon went beyond what I was expecting of them, I was disappointed that Brolin was in it so little. Definately recommend this one, even for the women.

The real star was Hailee Steinfeld as Mattie Ross. An Oscar worthy performance. Jeff Bridges and Damon were superb. I am hoping to catch the original somehow.

I love westerns but this one was very disappointing. Slow-moving. At one point my eyes started closing. The trailer had me thoroughly fooled. Noticed when the girl exited the river with her horse, she was completely dry. Acting by all was good. But overall I thought it was a waste of time.

loved the fact it was between deadwood, ( really grungy)and the old dusters where after 2 months in the bush , they were still clean. The young girl was awesome , the ending a little shlockey too me , but all in all , an excellent film..
