  This is an excellent adaptation that is superior to the original film. This version is more closely aligned with the book that both films are based. The script reflects the language of the times. Makeup and costuming are authentic and effective. The relationship between the 3 main characters is well acted. The young actress, Hailee Steinfeld, is an absolute joy to watch and holds her own against an equally impressive Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon. I have seen it twice and would definitely see it again.

  Excellent movie. Jeff Bridges deserves an Oscar. Quite a few funny parts and lots of action.

  loved it,the young actress stole the show! the cohen brothers have turned out another winner.

  Jeff Bridges is good in this movie but nothing will ever beat the original movie. Josh and Matt are easy on the eyes so I rate this movie a 4.

  Go and see - better than Jeff's other movie, Tron
