  this movie had some really funny parts, but it also had some long dragging parts, I liked this movie, it was entertaning.

  I went to this movie reluctantly but was blown away by the characters, the action and the scenery. Excellent all round, a must see.

  I absolutely loved this movie. Great acting. There was nothing vulgar,no bad language or gratutious sex,you could take your parents and your kids to see this great movie.Well done.

  Excellent. Best western I've seen in a very long time. I always wondered who could ever play John Wayne because he was one of a kind. But Jeff Bridges did an amazing job!!

  This was a very authentic western. It wasn't about twirling guns around or a bunch of good guys riding off into the sunset. The costumes, the towns, and most of all the dialogue felt very authentic for the time period. I would have preferred a little more action but it was still well done. There are some really good convincing performances here. I love westerns because they are so simple yet effective. True Grit definitely fits into that category.

  Slow start to the movie, but when it gets going it`s pretty awesome. Just as good as the original movie, i would recommend this movie to everyone.
