  Excellent movie. My mom loves westerns. We bought her the original on blu ray for her as well. She loved that one too. A must see.

  We need more westerns. Espesially ones like this - with great writing and interesting, compelling characters. Took my kids to see it - 12 y/o daughter and 15y/o son and we all loved it. Don't know if we liked the Ranger or the bounty hunter better - they we both so well done.

  Disappointing is all I can say about this movie. I can't beleive everyone else is giving it 4, 5 stars.

  In typical coen brothers fashion the satirical remake of True grit meets the Coen brothers standards. Great performance by Jeff Bridges and a feisty and genuine Hailee Steinfeld compliment this cast which includes a comedic Texas ranger Matt Damon. Although far different then the original , this new twist provides an insight into the coen brothers version of the western. I would recommend this movie albeit dont expect to be overwhelmed as this is a slow yet fast moving movie...

  I was very impressed by the casting in this movie, it was well paced, with great direction. Jeff Bridges was better than John Wayne in the original. Don't miss this one!

  The actors and actress did a super job.The story held your interest just when you thought it was over something else happened.
