  Excellent story line as well as actors, but the story sometimes dragged with extra gargle that was not necessary for the same effect. All in all a good movie !

  whether or not this remake of a 1969 movie was needed or not,it is a good one.This one adheres most closely to the book by Charles Portis.there is lots of choice dialogue especially delivered by Jeff Bridges and Hailee Steinfeld(who is a real find as Matty Ross).Bridges,in particular is a real hoot-the Dude abides in his channeling of the Duke.
