  this movie is no way near the REAL TRUE GRIT there was no feeling between the characters sorry close to finding this movie boring

  Jeff Bridges very good & Hailee is excellent. Story line moves well & some witty dialogue. Probably not a typical Cohen Brothers film (not enough violence)... but still one of the best films of December! (& Cineplex, knock it off with all the commercials... you are screwing up the movie experience!!!)

  Great movie. The Coen Bros do it again. Jeff Bridges just keeps getting better and better. Matt Damon plays his character just right but Hailee Steinfeld steals the show with an amazing performance. Wow, this young lady is going to be a force to be reckoned with. Also, I loved de 1870 dialogue, real nice touch.

  3 1/2 stars. I really enjoyed the movie although I had difficulty understanding Jeff Bridges due to his slurred speech. Good "oater"...

  Jeff was great and so was Damon. The girl was fantastic as well. Very dissappointing ending though, they could have done so much more with it.
