This movie was not what I expected. There are not many actions scenes, way to much dialogue and generally a slow movie to sit through. Jeff Bridges was almost impossible to understand at times, almost as bad as Christian Bale as Batman...And the bad guys were not even bad, they were the nicest villians i've ever seen in a cowboy move. The only highlight was the quick talking girl that made this movie somewhat watchable..Save you time and energy.

The original is one of my favourite movies. So I was a little apprehensive about going to see this one. But the young girl was actually young, not like the original when she was actually in her 20's. Jeff Bridges did an outstanding job and to learn he did his own stunts puts John Wayne to shame. As a bad guy Brolin could not have done it any better. True Oscar winning perfomances by all and a movie that will make a lover of westerns return time and again to see it and eventually by the DVD. A true Western not since Silverado has there been such a great movie. Westerns and Cowbys can really fill a screen.

What can I say...it was a western with lots of shooting and killing. Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon played great roles; however, Hailee Steinfeld was fantastic - lots of speaking. Sounds like she would make a great lawyer.

Top notch acting especially by Hailee Steinfeld. I have always liked movies with Matt Damon and Jeff Bridges and now I'll have to watch for more movies by this young lady. I have to admit though that I hated the ending.
